Good for you, our government is denying us reverse osmosis filters yet they just installed one in parliament. What does that say?

Aslask: Shoot at the lot of it.

Everyone trusts the cops. Everyone trusts the politicians. Do they trust people who rummage through their email, phone records, msn history and mail? Yes. If they're cops.
They call anyone else who does that a stalker.

Some parts of the world. The largest part that is indeed being fucked up as such is USA. I blame USA for everything that's bad, and you'd be wise to do that as well, because not even close to all countries have cops and politicians that "Rummage through" their personal information, mail, phone records etc. If you think so, you're paranoid and should seek medical attention.

"Wahhhhhh wahhhhh wahhhhh, communism, wahhhh waahhhhhhh waahhhhhhhhh, socialism. My fellow americans, these are the demon ideals that will tear our great nation apart." Yeah fucking right. Capitalism is greed, and a means of preventing the oppressed from rebelling. Politicians and policemen have hard ons for violence and their own little power trips. Watch a political demonstration nowadays. See if you can see the reporters and poor hippies through the clouds of tear gas.

Truly, another thing to blame USA for. They think everything is bad. Communism works in some cases, however, in an established community, one cannot simply say "Now we're communists. Enjoy.". No, this needs to be done from the very start of a society (I was about to say Soviety instead of society). Like Russia. China. Cuba. You name it.

And yes, capitalism is greed, what'd you expect? It's a synonym to greed, and is not a real political direction. Also, how the blast can capitalism/greed prevent free speech? That doesn't make sense.

And about political demonstrations. Tear gas? In a peaceful demonstration? Never seen that.

One more thing. Entertainment. You are so accustomed to the cop or the FBI agent or the President being the good guy on TV, you forget that real life does not work like that.
You are constantly bombarded by warnings to keep your house locked, not to use the net cos your kids might be abducted, don't talk to strangers, don't fucking forget to wash yourself, you might spread germs. All it is doing is building fear and distrust of our surroundings. So one day, if the bad guys DO come knocking on your door, you won't be able to pull together an effective resistance, cos you've been too shit scared of your neighbours and the alley behind your house and the kind old man who just likes to do nice things to atone for his life. You push all those people and opportunities away and you fucking disconnect and alienate yourself. Divide and conquer is a very old saying. It's effective.

True, if people opened their eyes for reality as it is, and not the TV reality, the world would be a less disappointed place. The general media spreads crap. Not really lying, more like not telling the entire truth. This is common to make your argument almighty and disabling all other arguments.[/quote]

Fear. What you say there is true. But look where those TV shows are produced. And I'm too tired to write those three letters again, so go on, have a guess. Spreading fear and paranoia is another sinister technique to cowardize people and breaking their backbones. Still, I daresay this argument actually talks straight against your own first argument, where you're afraid of politicians and cops. Why? because you're misinformed by dodgy blogs with shaky sources.

You get continually dumbed down by fluoride in your water, your school system teaching fucking creationism as science, your teachers not being able to even fucking SPELL CORRECTLY and the TV pelting you with advertising and selected, pre-approved news.

About that spelling, thank you. I'm in fact, correcting both my Norwegian and English teachers when they're reaping poor weak minds with their lies and terrible grammar. And how do you seriously plan to live without flourid? You'll die within the week, no matter what you try to substitute it with. It might be a joke, but it's not a good joke. Therefore, it doesn't count as a joke, as jokes should be clever and funny.

And who teaches creationism as science? You mean religion classes at school? Those aren't really about religion and trying to preach to others your ownreligion. No, they're about religious history, that is historic science. This helps anyone to understand foreign cultures better, and not be ignorant arses who keep wondering why those hindus have red dots in their forehead. These damn fools who won't go to religion lessons because they're afraid of getting cultures jammed in their vacuumed skulls should just stick to their industry and not do anything original and productive, just watching the same conveyor belt transporting boxes of butter around. Those people are those I truly and honestly hate. I don't like using a strong term as hate, but in this case, I in fact wish them everything bad.

And manipulated news? Old stuff. That's true on TV, but why do you think we have internet? Correct. News. Information. Debates, like this, where people can speak up before that ugly fellow that happens to have the job to introduce debatants to a debate show breaks them up in the middle of an argument.

And people like me, who see what it's like, guess what it's leading up to and try to warn everyone, get a very special treatment. Nowadays, there are two words that can automatically shut anyone off to your warnings and evidence.
Conspiracy theorist.

A lot of people (like those without education in religion) doesn't even know what conspiracy means. They probably think it's con-piracy or something. And a theory? People think that's suspicion. A theory is a replacement for the truth, when an absolute truth cannot be found. Science! That's where theories belong. Not in the basement of a poky bookshop around the corner, with all the local conspirationists (?) go together and make up arguments for everything. Because you can totally do that. Making up arguments is as easy as eating.

I don't believe in the NWO or any of that shit. I believe in greed, raw power and false political process. A republic is called a democracy nowadays. You elect someone to run your country, but you can't say what they actually do. You just get to pick which fucker runs it.

Republics are a joke. In a republic, the president is a legally elected dictator. He decides whatever he wants without the people. At least having parliaments would help. Still, it is the easiest way to creating a seemingly happy community. And people are to lazy to protest against the government's lies. And those who do protest; Did they ever vote? No. Then they have no right to demonstrate. That would be like shouting at yourself for not voting for that other bloke that happened to be a perfect puppet as president. What rules needs are balls and spine. They can't make desicions by themselves, but need to go through a vast birocracy before the action gets approved. Whether this is feeding the dog or launching a nuke, they have to make sure a lot of people agree, so they're not looking stupid when they're the only ones standing for their opinion. And if some brave fellow does this, he damn well gets put down from his position of power and called a maniac. Maybe he even gets a jail sentence. Great! This is a sign of a rotten society.

I don't get depressed. The minute I get depressed, I turn it into rage. Something has to be causing that depression. Something can usually be done about it. So I get angry and productive. I try to spread information and general awareness.

Anger is rarely productive. The few times it is productive, though, it is VERY productive. Anger is often surpressed, which is good. But the moment you've had about enough, shout and scream and do what your mind is set on. Don't tame the natural forces.

And one day, when it all DOES collapse and come crumbling down around everyone's ears, I'm gonna stand in the street and laugh my arse off. Because I told you so.

If you do, I'll chop your tongue off gently. Like you say politicians do in every country (Which is in fact, near the truth). Many countries are like that, but there are a lot of gaps between those tyrant-regimes, so get off your chair, pack your backpack and get out! Not just out in the woods, out in the world! Look around, and find out that people aren't always the douchebags they seem.

Also: If the world collapses just like that- Wow. Then I'll go make myself an army of apes and make a superpower at once.

What? This isn't a debate thread? Ok. Art criticism:

The left hand got insanely long fingernails.

Thanks. Now, feel free to correct my grammar. I won't, because my fingers are sore after typing that in rage. And I play the guitar, so my fingers are quite armored. Imagine, then, how my keyboard feels.
Chlorine kills. I think he does mean fluoride. The water I drink doesn't contain any fluoride and I don't use fluoride toothpaste. I have been living this way for over 10 years. I have the same amount of cavities as most but I thoroughly brush my teeth twice a day and you will not find a soft drink (soda) in my house for months at a time.

That is one part of your argument I could pick a hole in, Aslask. Kudos on the rest.

That is, in fact, impossible. All drinkable water contains a certain level of flouride. Floruide is vital.
We have had our water unfluoridated since forever. I'm perfectly fine.
ALL town councils add chlorine to the water, it's mandatory. Only a tiny, tiny bit, though. It kills bacteria. Fluoride is ENTIRELY different. It's added purely for the reason of 'preventing tooth decay'. Nothing else. Sure, there's a very very small percentage in natural water already. That's fine. It becomes dangerous when you are ingesting almost 5% more than usual with each meal, drink and shower. It's accumulative. It has very specific side effects, too. It affects the thyroid glands, raising anxiety and depression.

It has also been shown to raise the risk of bone cancer in males. Look it up.

When the water is called "Unflouridated", this means you won't die if you take extra flouride tablets. If it wouldn't be flouridated AT ALL, you'd need tablets.

As you said; It exists naturally in water, therefore you cannot remove it and still have mineral in the water.
