When you download photoshop,just search for tutorials like i did.After a while you'll get used to it and you will know all the functions of photoshop.Believe me,don't lose hope now.

how to make the background

What kind of background?you mean just color the background?use the paint bucket tool.If you want to get a pic from outside and make it as a background,click File,open.and choose your pic.
