Paul McCartney was merely the third best Beatle, and as a solo artist (and with Wings) he was pretty lame until he made Ram. I regard this song as his best work.

Screw videos and all that tosh. Look at the songwriting. All the best Beatles songs were written by John and George. Even the songs listed as "Lennon/McCartney" were mostly just written by Lennon.
