Haha, oh boy. Firstly, you need to know that here in Denmark, there is little to nothing impressive about the nature. As in, the nature in Denmark is unimpressive, so it probably takes less to impress me. But in Austria, where i just were on a vacation in, there was an awful lot of exceptionally beautiful places of nature.
For one! Driving around on a twisted road between mountains. When you get to look down a long stretch of the valley, it's just beyond words. Simply stunning.
Another thing would be when you're standing on a vantage point on a mountain, and looking over and up a glacier. Especially the
Pasterze Glacier, that one's truly amazing. The picture only says so much, you have to see it to really experience it.
Thirdly, inside the
Dachstein Icepalace (which in and of itself is exceptionally beautiful), there was a place where you could look right into a glacial crevasse. While you couldn't see the entirety of it (without slipping on the floor), the ice formations in there were amazing.
