When nature amazes you.
Stolen from escapist.

Probably one of the more incredible memories I have about nature is when I went up a trolly to the top of the swiss alps, climbed up the stairs to the top view and looked out over the valley just as the sun started to clear the fog.

Seeing the steep mountain sides, rolling hills, and the bells from the cows struck me as incredibly beautiful..

also when the night sky clears, sometimes I lie on my roof and stargaze, If I'm lucky I can see the milky way.. which is just incredible to me, as I love space.

I went on a cruise around the Kiribati Islands about 2 months ago.
On the way to and from the first and last islands on the trip, the ship was sailing through 2 monsoons. I was standing on Deck 7 (read: 7 stories up) and I was looking over the side at swells that were level with the railing. Ten meter high waves.
Just blew my mind completely.

Haha, oh boy. Firstly, you need to know that here in Denmark, there is little to nothing impressive about the nature. As in, the nature in Denmark is unimpressive, so it probably takes less to impress me. But in Austria, where i just were on a vacation in, there was an awful lot of exceptionally beautiful places of nature.
For one! Driving around on a twisted road between mountains. When you get to look down a long stretch of the valley, it's just beyond words. Simply stunning.
Another thing would be when you're standing on a vantage point on a mountain, and looking over and up a glacier. Especially the Pasterze Glacier, that one's truly amazing. The picture only says so much, you have to see it to really experience it.
Thirdly, inside the Dachstein Icepalace (which in and of itself is exceptionally beautiful), there was a place where you could look right into a glacial crevasse. While you couldn't see the entirety of it (without slipping on the floor), the ice formations in there were amazing.

Exactly this, but replace Denmark with Holland and Austria with Morocco.
Driving in between two huge cliffs is really spectacular to see for someone who lives in a country that barely has hills :>
hahah nature happens to be very beautiful in australia, in my opinion. my favourite experience of nature was when my girlfriend and i made love in a beautiful park lol. ever since then nature kicks ARSE XD
Kind of like concrete but with extra MAN

Centuries Of Damn
When I come back from being out of town, and the pungent smell of cow shit hits my nostrils.

As the Dairy Owners around here say... "It smells like money."

THIS POST IS HIGHLY IRRELEVANT.

Well, theres this snowboarding mountain I go to every year with my dad, its called "Holiday Mountain" and its in La Rivier Manitoba. The ski lift is a while but its worth the wait. as soon as you get to the top of the mountain, you turn around and look at the ground below you, and looks like a painting. a fucking painting that nature has created. I don't know what to say, its just beautiful. I live in a place with blue skies and green trees but in the middle of fucking winter on the top of Holiday mountain its fucking amazing.
I think clouds are the most amazing thing ever on earth in the whole wide universal space that we call home. They never cease to amaze me by being so... REAL. Irreplicable. Immense. HUGELY REAL.
LIGHTING FROM MY EYES
^^ I sit outside of work during the summer and just stare at the sky. The colors, and the way the clouds look from that vantage point are amazing.

When I was about 13 I was walking home one day and just for hell of it picked up a crab apple. I looked at the skin of it, and for some reason I think it changed the way I see things. Just how intricate it was, at the time it affirmed my belief in God, anymore though (as an atheist) it still reminds me how much stuff is in some form of order that is out of my control or comprehension.
