Plays Metallica by Four Cellos is the debut album by Finnish rock group Apocalyptica, released in 1996. It features eight instrumental Metallica covers arranged and played on cellos.

It is indeed and I'm suprised no one has commented. I have the album 'Worlds Collide'. In my opinion it sure isn't one of their better albums but has songs with singers such as Corey Taylor (Stone Sour/Slipknot), Till Lindemann (Rammstein), Adam Gontier (Three Days Grace) and Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil). Also, Dave Lombardo on drums. \o/

They're pretty good, but I think they've gone a bit downhill recently. Four guys playing cellos while headbanging furiously is a pretty hilarious sight in my opinion, though.
