Power Overdose.
Hey...its everyone's favorite "Topic nobody wants brought up...bringer upper" I was just wondering if anyone else thought that the mods "Might" have gone powerhappy?

read all of these 64 pages http://forum.toribash.com/misc.php?do=banlist

and tell me, do you think if this many people seriously hacked that there would still be a toribash? i mean if I'm wrong than fine, i can live with that...but i still would prefer more than a "Hacking, Hacker, gtfo, or farming." farmings pretty self explanatory....but you could hack almost anything o.o
and Gtfo??!?!!? anybody want to post why they should Gtfo?

User was infracted for this post. (POWER OD, NEED TO SHARE)

Technical Old School. - It exists.
You are wrong.
Often, hackers create or hack a large number of accounts, leading to a large amount of bans.
i have a totally post modern tattoo of a scalene triangle.

<DeadorK> it shall be in mine as well
I can't get into that link you posted but I don't think they are experiencing an overdose of power at all.

They're just working. Did you get the raw end of the deal did you?
lol
This is why mods are mods.

420,000 members and just 64 pages of bans... It's a good run.
[10:17][10:50] <diskimage> Where can I find the Toribash license?
Woah Vamp, It's just showing that the mods are doing there job. No big deal.

بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم

.3%

.3% are banned

Would you want more?

Could be less too... i counted the spambots

...
Well most of the list is made up of permabanned spambots/obvious trolls and the like, from what i've read. I wouldn't say much "trigger happy" banning happens at all.

Although i do support the idea in the OP of ban reasons being more informative sometimes - i've seen a few bans on the list with the reason "fail". I think it's fair to say that every ban should be justified with a published reason, however obviously bannable the offender was.
