Drugs are illegal because they affect a person's actions and personality, and also their mid-term memory. If every person went into work high, it would definitely wreak havoc in the workplace. Drugs aren't illegal because they are harmful to the body, or their usage affect the economy (Thank you Family Guy, you make another wrong statement).
