Tori 3 with shaders is <1 fps.
Dunno if its just me but,
when i turn shaders on it goes at leaset below 1 fps a second.
So litterally its frozen.
What can i do?
Ive done fram skipping, doesnt seem to make any difference =S

I have a NVDIA Gefore FX 5200, is that the problem??

Try settings frameskipping to 1 before you enable the shaders.

Geforce FX5200/5600 may run shaded Toribash, however it will be absolutely horrible in fps.

Get a new graphics card, for example the Geforce 7600, or play with normal graphics. Nothing else you can do about it.

I can't believe SMOD is making a post like this. There are serious performance issues with 3.0 regardless what hardware you are using. Nebwluck said that shaders are in need of optimizing.

I'm using Q6600 and 8800GTS and having 20fps and below. Although FX series is an old card, getting a new card won't fix this problem completely currently.

INFACT, I get better FPS than I did in 2.0x

Back on topic, got the latest drivers from nVidia?
don't unban, he has hard coded userid bypasses everywhere.

I fail to see the connection between Super Mod status and my post. Just because I have Super Mod doesn't mean I know what's going on exactly with the game. Super Mod <> Developer.

And by "There's nothing else you can do about it." I meant you, as a player, at the current moment. Shaders will be optimized, but that's up to the dev's, and until then, there is nothing you can do about it. That's what I meant, not that it's hopeless.

Yes, I'm using forceware 163.69 and latest fixes for Vista.

Are you running Vista or XP veb?

I was asking around in irc and everybody I talked to was having performance issues. Maybe you shouldn't post answers in support unless you are aware what's going on with the game. But nevermind, I see your point. FX series is old and may not run 3.0 properly even after optimization.
