wolverine, how u get background black except a white outline of your guy u just used paintbrush or is there a tool?

when i used the edge detection in my GIMP software, i used the neon detection.

For some reason it made the background black and white around my character XD

That is because GIMP inverts the image before applying that filter...
dunno why
probably to make the neon more visible...
but i really dont know it for sure

Ok, here is my latest avatar, im still experimenting with gimp but im getting really good with it. Oh and wannin, when your making a head, you dont have to make it 128 x 128. It makes it too pixely, if you want a good quality head, ive found it better to use a larger plane. I use 500 x 500 and my head looks awsome. But yeah heres my latest update of my avatar. oh and i fixed the white edge around my character somewhat...

EDT: OMG I JUST GOT THE PICS OF MY CAR ONTO THE COMPUTER!! HA HA LOL VICTORY!!!! lol. It has my old name (WolverineWepX) on it, but don't freak out. This car was made in forza motorsport 2, a game for the x-box 360, i have a new head but i didn't want to spent another 3 days working on a head, when noone but me and people that come over to my house will see it! lol, it took me 2 days to make the decals and lettering, it took 4 days to make the head on the hood... But other then that, what do you think?
