Transparent/Invisible Head?
Hey i was wondering how i could make a head that was either completely transparent or that had some words on it and everything else was completely transparent,i saw a head once that was just lines and it was transparent,are there any tutorials?

-Thanks
Ok, open up gimp or photoshop. Then, have the select tool out and select the area you want transparent. Right click and then click cut, and there should be a checkered box like thing. That means that it's transparent in that region
Hope this helps.
P.S., the checkered boxes come out see through in-game, not like checkered boxes.

OPEN GIMP
create a new layer
then a window will appear
it says what color do u want
and select "Transparency"
then close the other layer(the white one)
ok
then save it as .png

I hope it helps!

Umm, yeah, almost everyone who posted here is wrong. Turning down the opacity or transparency or deleting the image will NOT make it transparent. You have to make a new channel called "Alpha1" and put either black, gray or white onto it. In photoshop, White is opaque and black is invisible, gray being translucent. In GIMP, it is the other way around, Black is opaque, white is Transparent and gray is Translucent. Hope this helps.

EDIT:
I am attaching a download to the transparent head, it should work, just download it and upload.
click. If this is against the rules or anything, feel free to remove the link.

in gimp you can do an alpha layer like DaPwnner said. but theres a easier way.
right click
->layers (i think its named so; dont have the english version)
--> transparency
---> color to transparency
----> choose the backgroundcolor of your image
-----> it should be transparent

the window i mean shoild look like this: Unbenannt.jpg

Did you not read my post fully?
Turning Transparency or opacity off just like that, Doesn't do a freaking thing!
You HAVE to add an Alpha 1 layer, or else it the transparent or deleted or wtv the crap you did to the image will just show up white.
