there are a lot of people who have suggested the addition of "power" boosts and advantages, or maybe "Rage","Turbo","Ub3r" mode but it has been a nearly unanimous decision to keep completely fair and all players, rich and poor equal and on the same playing field. The whole point of joints, dq rings, blood etc is just like the point of a custom head. Its for one, to show off and say look at me im a rich ******* but mainly its to be unique or not unique [if you want to look like someone else] and to add another level of play into Toribash, aka the "black market for joints" lol aka the Torishop and Trade Center. Toricredits would basically be useless, and no one would play obsessively and also spend hundreds of cash monys to get themselves customized and that would not be good for anyone. lol
