Well I think what DJ means by "better" is "more skillful". After all, gaining belts is totally meaningless and independent from actually getting better at the game, just look at me123ster..... The fact that you're a black belt doesn't mean that you're not as good as mobi or kronos or me because we're higher dans, we've just played more games. Conversely, the fact that me123ster is a custom belt doesn't mean he's not the biggest piece of sh%t player i've ever seen lol
And DJ, you seem to be forgetting something too (I just had deja vu WTF??). The way junior members get upgraded to elite status isn't by becoming better at the game (it's a factor but not the main one), since all [42] recruitees are held to the same standards of skill as the elites before they are allowed in. In other words, in order to join [42] as a junior, you have to have (at least close to) the skill of the elite members in the first place. So the way to raise your level in the clan actually has not much to do with improving skill. It's more "How much are you doing for the clan?" i.e. making banners/heads/textures for the clan, holding tourney's in the clan's name, spreading the word about [42], etc.
So I think the goal of this tag idea should be more to improve clan involvement rather than skill, which is something everybody should be improving on their own anyways.
Now despite my long-winded speech lol, I'm still on the fence about this idea so I'm gonna have to hold off my vote for now. Glad to see you're looking for ways to improve the clan DJ
