It's as 3vi1 said. Tori is attacker, then its lighter. Uke is defender, then its heavier. Different forces/mass to make different weight values.
Even if this would be fixed, it would mess everyone up, people are used to how it is, not to mention it would break all exsisting replays...

Then perhaps the uke/tori should be switched, since the current Tori(attacker) is defending the current position, and the Uke(defender) i attempting to claim the win.

They are deliberately made to be different, in order to reduce the amount of draws and double dqs.
