Gloss - Circle select, pencil, opacity = 20ish, color in circle, erase excess white on the outside with fuzzy select.

Shadow: Select a circle under the object, then, set the mode to subtract from selection, then select the outline of the logo. Color in with a darkish grey.

Also, the outside is to hard.

It involves making a sinus pattern and then doing some inner glow and stuff like that.
