That was started with texting (Low message space) and chatrooms (Low response time). But there's really no excuse for a forum.

It kinda bothers me as well. People suddenly transforming into grammar-nazis just to appear more intelligent and authoritive.

To be honest, I don't give a shit. As long as we can understand you, write however you want. i cn undrstand if u wriet lyk this, and so can everybody else, so go ahead. I write like this on the forums to keep in touch with whatever old writing skills I might or might not have had before I got stuck chatting on irc, msn, message boards, online gaming, whatever.

but normally, i chat like this, and if you think that you're intelligenter hurr than me because you express yourself with grace and eloquence, get the fuck out.

I kinda like when people use complicated grammar and words, I can then improve my English. But I get your point. It's not a grammar competition. Everyone should be able to understand unless their English is very bad.

I dont think there is anything wrong with the way people expres themselves on the forum, i like it when things are clearly explained though, it makes it more easy to go into a discussion on certain points. If you dont make your points in a clear way, you can keep babbling backward into eachother and it turns into a big mess.

But thats just my experience, some people take it a little far though, but i cant see why you would get annoyd by those types, you just have to realize that allmost everyone that looks at their text, probably thinks thesame thing.
But english isnt my language, so sometimes when i cant translate stuff inside my head i just type it in google translate the sh*t out of it and put it in the text. Most translations are kind of official most of the time, this is the reason why i cannot speak in the way i am able to wright, because there is more time to think about what you have to say.
