Sorry, dieman, I wasn't ignoring your vote, I was just listing off all the support there was for accepting carloz. But if there's a lot of support to bring somebody into the clan then I think that should be able to override a "no".
To Baygonn: I'm well aware of that rule, as I said that, in my opinion, it's broken and should be used. Also, notice "from an elite". While dieman is an important member, he's not an elite. So even if we were abiding by this rule, dieman's "no" wouldn't be a dealbreaker.
Edit: Just to clarify what this rule means, while I still don't agree with it (this is also addressing dieman's statement about ignoring his vote):
"Yes" votes are tallied just like a regular election. "No" votes from non-elites are tallied just like "yes" votes. A "no" vote from an elite ends the vote with a final verdict of "not accepted". If no elite votes "no", then the votes are tallied just like a standard election: More "yes" than "no" means final verdict of "accepted" and vice versa.
So according to those rules the vote's status is:
Yes: 5
No: 1
Elite No: 0
So nobody's vote is actually being ignored

I'm putting the rule back in order. In my opinion the elites status and opinion should be more respected. From now on, one no from an elite means that person applying has been declined and is not legible to join 42 and may re-apply in 1 month. Carloz01 is being moved to a testing thread.
