After a long hiatus, and a short thinking of what I'm doing while I'm here, I have decided to come back here where I belong. Dillion was instrumental in helping me see that all was OK in the land of 42, and that I belonged in it.

I must however apologize to a few folks:

Dills and Marsie - Sorry I disappeared without explaining why during the clan creation process. It was a shitty thing to do, but you kept going full stride. Thanks for keeping the dream alive.

All you other clan mates - Sorry I wasn't around to be involved in the clan I created.

All is well in the end though, and time plods along whether we do right or wrong.

Now that I'm back, though, my considerable [42] bank cash has come back with me. I'd love to hear some ideas on what to do with it. Thus far my ideas are:

1. Roll it into the already existing [42] clanbank, and allow it for common clan member usage.
2. Use it for MP competitions involving clan members (and occasionally ally or enemy clans) to encourage more in game activity.
3. Give it all to Marsies (he asked first, trust me - its an inside joke...)
4. Buy cool stuff for myself and laugh at you all.

I'm leaning toward option 2 - I love running tournies/knockouts/online decap comps, and I'd love to have a method to encourage more in-game activity.

How bout yous guys? What you got to say?

I'm beginning a series of MP knockout tournaments for members of clan [42]. These tournaments will be free for members of this clan, with a modest entry fee for any non-clan invited entrants (fee will be waived on a per person basis - awesomeness discounts may apply, see store for details...).

I'm planning for a payout of about 1k per person involved in the event (maybe more or less, TBD per event), so a knockout of 10 people should pay out 10k.

These will be winners only knockouts, and will involve lesser known modes.

As I said before, all tournaments are free for clan members, and invited entrants will pay half entrance fee (about 500tcs).

Its not set in stone yet, this is a "proof of concept" thread. Anything you want to add or change is fine. Post up some thoughts!
