I gave my head a bit of a makeover based on what you said, carlos. I don't really know how to do shadows and ridges like you did, but i added some textures to the plain colors to give it some substance and added pupils. What do you think now (bear in mind this is the first "successful" head I've EVER made from scratch lol)

mmm...add highlights to the eyes...like..a blurry circle between the pupil and the black of the eye...
and shadows in the hair.

WEE! Another head! Similar to my current head in the fact that there's only a face and a solid color. Spent a damn hour and a half getting the eyes to stay the right shape and fit on the front of the stupid head.... but that's only because i suck. Anyways... best i could do with this face:



The ring on the inside the eye in the picture on the right isn't supposed to be there lol, gimp decided to put it in there for some reason when i rendered it as a sphere :/

EDIT: gahdDAMMIT, just tested it in game and it's all pixelated

damn..that's a nice head.

Woah! You made THAT! LOOKS EPIC and to reduce pixelation when in game, work in a larger size then resize to 128x128
