It sounds like the trouble you're having is with seeing "Estimated download time remaining: 14 hours 23 minutes" lol

It happens, just leave your computer on for a night while you sleep or something. That's what I do. When I was at my house in before coming to college, I downloaded all kinds of free games (700MB-3GB size range) at an UNBEARABLE 60kb/s. The smallest games took overnight lol, the bigger ones were only about half done after a full night! So I know your pain man. Letting it go overnight works perfectly.
