Search for the new updates on portal, they placed 25 hidden radios (called dinosaurs ingame), all with morse code, some have images hidden in it (yes, you can make sounds become images), some have M5 hash. But the 25th one, says LOL.
Also, they put a secret update in the strings table (what the "NPCs" say) and it is : "Stop looking at our string table and go play the game".
And vALVE knows the players search for these things, because portal NEVER had updates, so they (the players) got curious because vALVE said they were going to launch Portal 2, they created a thread on steam (don't have link now) about that.
You can go search if you want, it's very crazy ^^
