Secret Santa 2024
Uhh... you don't want to shut down your router. Are you sure you're even connected by a router? And the firewall is usually as easy as closing the program, or adding toribash to the allowed port numbers/programs. But that would depend on wether or not you even have a firewall. Are you on vista or xp? And do you have a 3d party firewall?

Ok, I'll go step by step, but you need to tell us what you have or else we can't help much.

1) Do you have a router? If so, you should look at the link to port forwarding provided above. You should then connect you the admin site of your router and add the port numbers to be forwarded to your computer.

2) Do you have a firewall? Examples would be: Windows Firewall, Windows Defender, Norton Systemworks, Charter Security Suite, and there are many others. If so, find where you can allow the toribash exe file to access the internet, and do so. Alternatively, add the port numbers provided above to the list of allowed ports, depending on which would firewall might happen to be using to block toribash.

3) Let us know if it works.

box: This is incorrect. servers.txt shouldn't be edited at all.

As posted earlier,
www.portforward.com has guilds on both routers and firewalls.
You just need to know if and which one you have, select it, and follow the instructions there to enable the ip addresses and ports that were given here.
