By carefully examining the Auction rules you will notice that an auction cannot be cancelled if the ending bid is smaller than the creators choosing.

While there aren't any specific rules against what you are attempting to do kristis, I will assume that the creation for the rules to make sure once a price to begin or end a sale is set, it's set in stone. So I am personally telling you that you must keep your starting price you originally posted.
