1) Go to User CP
2) Go to Edit Options
3) Scroll down until you see the Default Thread Subscription Mode box (don't worry, even though there's the word "subscription" it doesn't mean you have to pay for it)
4) From the drop-down menu, choose "No email notification"
5) Post on a thread
6) Whenever someone posts on the thread where you posted/which you posted, it'll be listed in your User CP
Private Messages
1) Go to User CP
2) Go to List Messages
3) From the drop-down menu under the bar, choose Sent Items and press Go
4) See PMs what you've sent
