IMO, the only usefull subjects are : English, math, physical education.
Of course, i may be having a silly moment and might have forgotten one, but you won't necessarily NEED to know things like art and music. Unlike things like banking, marketing. ( maybe not marketing, but a way to manage your money wisely ;o )
History is taught so we don't make the same mistakes.
Science is useful for survival such as identifying plants mixing compunds to make fire or make poison etc.
I don't know what should be taught in schools, but maybe an enhanced English class would do well as seeing 65% are gangsters who are pretty illiterate when it comes to everything.

And learning Science without math would prove extremely difficult without
the basic knowledge for math.
Anyways in Canada there is this one class called Planning10. You only take it in grade 10 and it covers Drugs, Sex, Health (some people NEED this) and a math class called EMath that teaches you about banks and how to use em properly, hardly the math we should be learning but meh, It also covers long division, some algebra and fractions. there quite simplified, but that's the point to get you good at something small and to work your way up. These two seem pretty necessary to me, but should be slightly revised.
We also don't have History, we have Social Studies which covers geography, religion/philosophies, and history. what goes on in history? Just history? Or is it like Social Studies, but just called History?

Oh, and more technology classes should be taught, with all the advancements more and more jobs are using computers, or technology.
