can someone help me when i play toribash 3.9 i cant see the chat box (cant see what other players are saying) i can talk but i cant see the text. i reinstalled the game but it didnt do anything please help me i need it to communicate. i hope someone can resolve this, if someone can help me fix this id be very grateful.

Can you see the timer and scores? If not, type "/option hud 1". (without quotes)

if all else fails, delete toribash and reinstall, that tends to work (oh but don't delete the replay folder ;o)

So you can see what you are writing while you are writing it, but if you press enter, it just disappears?
You may have a bug or something. Try /chl 5 (chatlines 5). You can't set them to 0 and reinstalling should have done that anyways, but I can't guess another solution at the moment.

try pressing esc twice

But when he boots to safe mode he doesn't get that error

/opt chatcache 2
/opt chatcache 1
/opt chatcache 0

One of those ought to work.

It's probably your graphics card, happens to me.
