I say China or Japan will be the next Superpower.
America is purchasing lots of items from china. Giving them lots of money for weaponry and other military purposes. Also, the U.S. is in a high amount of debt with Japan. They own most of the U.S. banks and other businesses. If not one of those two, I would guess Germany. In WW2, German scientists invented the atomic bomb for the U.S. just weeks after escaping Germany and fleeing to America. If they would have stayed in Germany, they would have claimed victory over WW2. If Germany had the scientists and technology to do it then, I think that they can create many things now.

It's probably not going to be so straightforward with China.
I have a feeling a lot of countries won't accept (or be comfortable with) China as the next superpower.
Sure, their economic growth is staggering but their culture and values are quite different from the US.
Countries who are happy with the US as the hegemonic state will probably work against China to keep it the way it is. Japan for example.
It's no big secret that the Japanese government don't get along with the Chinese government...
