/me is scared

The stuff i did to mc to make it run better :
Defragged my hard drive
Installed optimine
I "bought" gamebooster
I cleaned out my downloads folder down to 2gb
i set my mc to high priority in task manager

I now run at 15 fps >_>

Yeah, my framerate is like 15ish. That's enough to discourage me from playing a bit. He should really fix that.

The difference is, is it choppy 15fps? or is it consistent fps. I was getting about 10fps choppy, i would get spikes of like 13fps then drop to 9, then back up, and down, and up and down ;_;
now i have consistent 15fps

Mine will stay around 17-20. That's fine, I guess, but every now and then it shoots up to what seems to be 30 or 35, and back down. So it's like showing me its tits, and then hiding them for the rest of the night.

On low render distance with ambient occlusion and fancy graphics settings off, I still can't play without lock ups lasting up to 10 seconds every time I move the mouse half an inch.
Got a little better when Notch edited in mcregion, before that the game was literally unplayable.
Hopefully new computer will run it better.

imo, i don't think notch implemented mcregion correctly. when I used mcregion as a separate mod it worked great, it only worked "blegh" when it was an official thing. But notch DID implement AO fantastically, he jus tneeds to fix the fucking ice lighting bug.
