I don't understand how you guys get that smooth flash effect.

Whatchu talkin bout, dbuhos? Mine have smooth edges because I render them at like 10000 quality.

Where the eff do I change quality..

In the main window you should see a drop-down box that says 5, or some low number, if you change that you'll get a better preview render. If you go "Render to Disk" it'll have a quality thing on the right side, it'll be at about 2000, you can change that to whatever you want, along with the resolution.
