How to Play the Game?...
All rihgt im shure some folks need help out there on certain mods, I know i do.
Post here what you think youve got the skills to teach and what you need some schooling in.

Me personaly i am good at its judo i think. 80cm 1000/70 with grabs. I have a few good openers i could help teach.

I am hopless at wushu and anything further than 120cm. Also not great at sambo, realy just need help on a few faster opening sequences.

Help me and others to learn how to play the game so we can become an Epic clan...
okk then, firstly i am alright at little apart from people commenting on most of my saves in sambo (also anything inside a ring). but i beleive it migt be beneficial for people to download some of the scripts such as sambo trainer, they actually last for a long period of frames and they make uke fight with some pretty excelent moves, just copy and learn

When I just started off, I used to save the replays of the people that were really good, and tried their moves out. I think that's when I really improved, by just editing the replays and finding out what the pro people were doing differently from the n00bs :]

Another way to learn is to watch urself in the mirror or imagine what would happen if you were tori and u kicked in a certain way. this is how i mainly figure out my moves. another great way is to use single player to figure out what forces need to be applied to kick as one would in real life. for example the first kick i taught myself was one that i enjoyed doing in rl at my karate dojo.

I did almost exclusively judo when I started and got decent at it. Later I started playing sambo and akido (whats the real difference there anyway?) and my proficiency at sambo is what got me invited to join Epic. However, I tend to flounder at anything beyond 120cm, and I can just barely handle the mma server at 170cm. My problem is I can never figure out a good way to launch forward at the beginning.

yeh try combating that by contracting one leg and knee (same side) and contracting the othe knee whilst extending that hip. i find it ids godd for wushu because the next time the clock stops u can extend ur knee and contract ur hip and u will kick them, contracting the knee on the extneded hip also pushes u forwards. just dont try with both legs otherwise u flip onto the ground- dq

[intrude] instead of contracting knees, relaxing one can work wonders depending on what situation you're in [/intrude]
