HTOTM: FUSION
The Internet is a way of communicating, sending information, and is a audio and visual data source.
Obviously, the Internet is made to give you freedom, so don't be silly!

Everyone wants lots of freedom, silly!
It's like you can steal in the USA and you won't get in trouble, thanks Limewire!

The internet is dangerous, I agree to that, but sometimes parents give their children too little freedom. Such as an online 'babysitter' or perhaps a curfew on their computer. Some parents can get pretty personal, and limit the funitude of the internet.
That guy named Poppo
You know, the leader of Fyre.
something people gotta understand is the same stuff parents don't want kids to do on the internet most of them did in there childhood but when your really worried what your child will do on the internet install features that monitor what there doing or simply block what you don't want you child on.
I think when you make the internet safer the young people will do all of these things you said
because of the fact its forbidden it gets more interesting for people who want to be ''cool''
like the thing with the weed in italy :
first it was forbidden and 30% of the young people smoked weed
now its legal and only 12% smoke weed

pretty good example, imo its like this: when they have their freedom they will learn to think for themselves and maybe NOT do all that shit that is forbidden etc, they will have their own rules for what the like/dont like or see/dont wanna see. if parents do rules the kids wanna break them, its allways the same and ever will be .P

I was raised that way and I agree with you. I've had access to alcohol as long as I can remember, whenever I wanted to try something, my parents would give me some. Didn't like it at all then, as I was probably really young, but at least I found out myself in a controlled environment.

I think the best way to handle the curiosity of a child is to let it try for itself, but as I said, in a controlled environment. Of course is it important that you do not let a kid smoke weed when it's 7 years old or something, but I can assure you, if you are not a smoker, the first time you smoke weed is going to be mostly coughing.
Thanks for the Avatar, MrAakash
Well im still considered 'young' i guess (14, nearly 15 years of age) and i know people and parents and how protective they can be...

My mum hates me talking to people i dont know from school or RL, which i can understand sort of, but i mean, she thinks they are going to find me and come rape/kidnap me from my own house... I know not to give away my details to people, and i can just have fun without being raped, which she doesnt seem to understand -.-
I, as a part of the young generation, think that children do get too much access to many sites such as, porn, fighting sites, etcetra. It doesnt seem right how the stupidest child can bypass the, Are you over 18? question. There is not enough security about youngsters on sites.
Actually they don't have that much freedom because they don't live w/o their parents yet and the parents can still check the history and other stuff
