How is it abuse? It's corporal punishment. It used to be far more popular in your parent's days, but it's falling out now and being seen as abuse for some reason. There's a difference between hitting a child so hard that it lasts for more than a few minutes and a small slap to tell them no. Animals do similar to teach their young not to do something.

Lolz, i happened to read this entire thread, including the posts, i happen too have a EVIL cousin too. One time she hit me with a teddy bear, didnt hurt but it kinda hurt my eye since she made the ear go in my eye...she started laughing...so i went to tell my Aunt, she told me to tell her if my cousin was hitting me, etc. I told her and she was like wow shut up you fucking pussy it didnt hurt. So i went back into where my cousin was, took the teddy and hit her with it on the back of the head, she starts to fucking cry and she goes and tells her mom, her mom freaking yells at me and grounds me...wtf?...it shouldnt of hurt right? you called me a pussy, why didnt she tell her daughter the same?... But anyways i just completely laughed at this, i can relate, even though my evil cousin is only about 2-3 years younger than me. Freaking parents...
