don't really understand the reason for banning

mk1 posted a thread with a pirated game on it and everyone else who commented on the thread was banned (mk1's punnishment was 1 month i dont know the others)

i got banned for supposedly "not reporting warez" i had my reasons. . they declined them all.

"1. i never said i supported warez either"
them: you had 4 days to report it
"2. i didnt check that thread at all after that post"
them: you didnt look at the illegal link to the cracked game?
"3. i didnt know it would affect me if i didnt report it either."
them: you didnt know not reporting illegal game links in a game forum would affect you? when it says in the Terms and conditions?"
"4. if i knew then i would have reported it"
them: too bad too late. (pretty much)
