But I do think about the future of games exactly like Jtank; sceptical.. Alot of stuff that ain't new, just with some epic engine and graphics that doesn't impress me if the rest ain't good like the storry and the new things... , nothing individuel.. or just commercial.. paying for features, fucked up online systems.. I don't pay for games anymore, except of BF3 and the new Edler Scrolls :>

Anyway, you're talking about all those big publishers like Ubisoft, Bethesda, EA, etc. but you have to have an eye on indie games. They are quite innovative most of the time. I mean look at Minecraft. Anyway, Indie games are the future!

Indie games get faggy too, at the same pace as big publishers. They just don't have such massive heap of faggotry accumulated to start with so it's harder to notice.

Indie games today are no longer true indie games. Now most of them are now made for money while few years ago they were made for fun. I know peoples that are really interested in indie, they send me a lot of stuff to play and I have to say most of them suck harder than new duke nukem.

imo Indie games aren't future. Just like with big publishers, indie sometimes do something EPIC but rest of it is crap.

Minecraft is cool but I just can't spend lot of time with it like I did with toribash or LoL.

I'm speaking of innovative indie games and they'll be the future in that term. They might not be as technically awesome as something from a big publishers but true indie games are made for fun and/or passion and innovation.

Also yeah, most of them get rather boring after some time.

Also Limbo for example is one of the best games I've played this year and it was programmed by one guy for fun.
