Wow, the windows index? If you have a 10,000$ computer and suckish hardrives it will rate your computer 1-5, when in actuality it's really 7-8.

Also, I was saying that Mac virus protection is the fact that they aren't targeted.

That makes them less secure.

Instead of having vulnerabilities found and exploited, then patched, they are left unpatched and unknown to Apple.

The idea that "if we don't know about it then it can't hurt us" makes no sense when it comes to security!
Mac(obviousley0)

if you had a $10,000 computer you would have ssd's which rate in the 7's with wei.

btw just a heads up on the wei thing. it's NOT a benchmark it rates your hardware based on it's capabilities not necessarily performance. this is why you see standard configurations of 7200 rpm sata hdd's getting less of a score than an ssd which may have worse performance.

as for what gormen said is completely true. what he says is an effect of them "not being targeted" which they are targeted just not noticeably.
You don't say?
Windows: Powerful computer, better than Mac & Linux with games and whatnot.

Mac: Great for work environment.

Linux: Codin' n' more stuff.

I personally prefer Windows because I somewhat grew with it, therefore I feel more comfortable in it than in a Mac or in Linux, but all of them are great but all of them also have pros and cons therefore you might want to pick one depending on what you will be using it for.
