What is a good type of starter?
I was playing toribash today and decided I need a new opener because my kick is getting boring and it's not too great. I was wondering what type of move I should do (a kick, punch, grab, etc)
What do you guys think?
Well, what mod are you talking about? And I suggest what ever that mod is, you should be original. Load the mod in free play and experiment.
For most mods, best move should be a kick. Like lift kick in aikido, high kick in wushu, split kick in judo.
Kicks are stronger than punches. But punches are faster than kicks.
If you want to grab, i prefer to practice grabbing and ungrabbing. It usually tricks the opponent once you grab them and ungrab in the next move. That trick usually works in aikido.

Well when starting out I usually go for the grass type pokemon, because it seems to have a disadvantage throughout the region, in general. But solo-ing any starter type should get you through the whole region anyway so no worries. Just keep 5 hm slaves and your starter and it's all good.

I assume you are working in multiplayer aikido, because that's what real men say. I suggest something involving moving your arms in front of you, ready to get you into a position of a lower centre of balance.
