Currency is a word invented by man, religeon is a word invented by man, creation is a skill invented by man.
If none of these things were conceived, we'd be walking around like morons, stuck in the stone age.
Implying that without religion we'd still be stuck in the stone age, when actually dark ages were followed by religious causes; progress of science was slowed down. Here you say that currency is something that we had to conceive in order to develop, but further in your post you say how money isn't needed?
Currency is what people invented as a "fair trade" for objects. Only the kings workers mine all of the gold, or the US government officials print the bills.
Currency is simply a mean of making the society work; acquire more wealth by working harder, and by working harder the society is improved. Your example of 'workers mining all the gold' is exaggeration; Someone has to provide all the food and goods for the workers themselves, so they were the minority of providing means of creating currency.US government officials are another minority, another example of creating objects of which value is stable and thus trade works better than by just trading an item to an item or items.
None of these things are actualy needed in life, money is an object of no value.
If some weird thing prevented us from having a currency, life would go on, but people wouldn't change in their habits. Only thing that would happen would be an a economical depression due to that formerly directed currencies would now be vanished, resulting in a huge slowing down in getting shit done.
So if life isn't worth living, why did we invent these things?
What things? Money? It is a mean of marketing for those who follow their instincts of succeeding in their lives. We live most of our lives without wondering if life is worth living, because it is much easier not to think about it. Daily habits and rewards we get from working are generally the only reason we exist, that we are here today as beings who can think abstract things.

Why not expand on this, as your post is it doesn't contribute anything to the discussion, offer something new. |
I'm not gonna lie life is worth it depending if the universe favors you, so far I feel quite neglected by the universe, but if you like trivial things such as ipods, games, and other minor technological advancements, yeah I guess life is worth it especially if you are quite interested in the future and how everything is gonna go down, Curiosity is a bitch.
Is life worth what? This is all there is. If you don't like it, you can leave and not come back. There's nothing for it to be worth.
You are basically telling me to suicide just because I thought there is no value to life?
Basically, I still don't, besides all the other reasons why I should.
