I can not wait to pick this game up this weekend. I plan on becoming a thief/assassin type character, that totally ignores magic. I was wondering what you guys think is the best race to start off for this type of character.

A khajiit is best for stealth and speed. Ignoring magic, however, is very silly, for with illusion magic, you can become more stealthier, and more stronger.


Guys, I need help. I'm stuck at level 3, and I'm a mage. Where should I train?

might go a bit stealthy seeing as i just joined and finished the first set of contracts in the dark brotherhood, already in the theives guild.

Is the home in solitude worth it? I have the one in Whiterun and it's fine but what do I get for the extra 20,000 gold?

Proudspire Manor is the most expensive house available for purchase in Skyrim. It is located next door to the Bard's College in the center of Solitude. It has many available amenities including an Alchemy Laboratory, an Arcane Enchanter, and cooking areas for your crafting needs. Fully upgraded, the house has 7 storage containers, 5 book cases, and 5 weapon racks scattered throughout the many rooms.

Yea legolas is awesome. Plus there are mammoths which are like furry, little Oliphants.

I chose a imperial because I tend to attempt to make my character look like me, although they never end up looking like me.

Been using one handed weapons the most so far, up to 80 on that, and 60 on archery.

So I've basically killed every single person in Whiterun. God that was fun.

Level 43 here.

100 speech, 100 smithing, 90 one handed, 84 heavy armor, 64 archery, 60 block.
Full enchanted Daedric set. Awesome.
