I also ate about 6 daedra hearts... good times. Sure made a nice one alchemy recipe.

Wait, you guys ate them? What sorta effects did they have on you and what did it taste like, chicken?

i know that, but we're talking about weapons :|

They tasted like bluewaffles, and I got 3 HP; even though I had full hp

At least I have 2 more that I can use in alchemy.

There's also a couple of Daedra hearts sitting around in certain places in Skyrim. I think I found 3 this way, but the only one I can remember for sure was in the Companion's sleeping chambers next to the old dude who leads them. Another one was sitting around in a necromancer lair, I think.

Other ways include killing the Dremora in Mehrunes Dagon's shrine after you've retrieved his razor. I think the ones inside the shrine respawn after a certain amount of days pass by. There's also the Atronach Forge under the College of Winterhold which can spit out hearts if you put in the right items - you can also summon a daedra there to fight for its heart, although iirc this requires a heart anyway :P

Interesting, I have discovered it and seen it but how do you get into the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon? You need some sort of key to get in, can it be found when doing another quest in a cave or just in chests as random loot?

Only way to get in is by doing Mehrunes Dagon's quest.
