I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but he used a tutorial for his red flower thingy. The name in fire was also a tutorial. I know because I have used them.

I thought that I'd seen the circuit board one before too.. but I thought that was my imagination..

Try it, find some nice looking texts, and use 'em. But last I used PS there were plenty of nice fonts I think. :

I recommend you draw your own name, along with a logo. theres not much individuality in using a font and well modifying a font is still like you would put effects on a render.

its true that the fire and the flower came from a tutorial but the circuits and others i did on my own
Im no pro at photoshop yet so im still using some tutorials to learn new techniques and become more skillfull. Once i learn these techniques i can find my style and start making great things but until then you have to bear with me showing things that might be tutorial made ;)
