Shaders
Well, I never took the time to look at Setup and just now realized Shaders. :P

So yeah, I went and set Shaders to 1, along with Transparency and Cell-shading, but for some reason, whenever I set Shaders to 1 my game just goes to non-responsive at the menu, and I have to close it up.

Anyone have any idea why? My specs should be fine..

Toribash crashes ?
Please check the error report (see above on how to see it)

If it contains the message 'SDL parachute deployed' , please make sure you have the latest version of the drivers for your graphics card. (Can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website)

If you read all of the above, and still don't know why it doesn't work
Post here the details of your computer and the contents of the error report. This can help us know what the problem is.

Still unsure of my problem.

I'll assume that's all the info you need to diagnose this problem... And more. :P

It is freezing, but waiting doesn't help, after 10 seconds - 5 minutes the program becomes non-responsive, and if I leave it for a while I get asked if I want to debug it.

maybe the fan on the card is busted?

Well that wouldn't make much sense, I'm thinking it's more something wrong in my game settings than anything, because my computer can run shit like TF 2 and CoD 4 easily, doubt it's overheating due to TORIBASH. :P

I appreciate the help you're giving me though, seeing as I'm such a noob.
Your welcome and hmmm

try running with

shaders 1
fluid blood 0
reflections:0
softshadows: 0
transparency:0
ambient occlusion:0
cel-shadding:0

so pretty much just turn shaders on
and everything else under shaders off

Yay, it works, but I wouldn't mind having all those other goodies work too.

E:// Ooo nevermind, it works if I do everything 1 by 1, that's really strange, guess my computer doesn't like big changes at once. :P

Thanks again!!

E2:// Grr, I'm lagging really bad with fluid blood and Soft Shadows / Cell-shading make me crash. That shouldn't happen with my specs should it? Ideas?

Ive noticed cell-shading is quite a bit more laggy than normal shaders, also ambient occlusion as it says decreases fps quite at times
