For all of you who don't know, there was this huge fuss over Joseph Kony, a Ugandan warlord who does some pretty despicable things like kidnap children, turn them into child soldiers, kill people etc...

Then these people came along that were called Invisible children, they were all like "Buy our pack today and wait for April to cover the night and make Joseph Kony famous cause he's a totally bad guy and stuff!"

Well that has all passed and the whole Kony 2012 thing just went *poof* vanished into thin air. What happened to it?

Just like any other internet skeem, it has vanished and what not.

Im sure he is still trying but people here have lost interest.

I think what happened after the actual video (the father in the video going crazy and masturbating all over San Diego) overshadowed the actual issue concerning Joseph Kony.

Eh, it all vanished into thin air after the whole incident with him masturbating in public and damaging cars.

Not sure what exactly is happening with it now, but I for one am happy to have seen it fail and disappear. One less thing to encourage the bandwagon jumpers and Facebook warriors, you know?

Street fights? I thought he was jerking off in public. Last I heard was that he's getting better but apparently people didn't think highly of it and then he just snapped, kinda sucks but that the way life goes.

Glad that it vanished. These media hype things are never good.

I thought Kony died and the media eventually found out about him.. that's what I've heard, and I think the person who said that must have been horribly wrong. :S

Nah man it was a scam well it least the video was , a scam 5.00 per view crazy tho. Check your local sources and I hardly think this thread is needed anyways yeah its pretty much a small deal .
