Hey, this is a really good idea. If any you have an IRC client, you can just leave it on there. And if you don't have one, you should get one. The webchat can be buggy, and it's not as aesthetically pleasing as an actual client. I use HexChat for Windows, and XChat for linux. But there are plenty more out there if you're interested in searching for them.

Yeah, I'm using Trillian for example. It's a multi-purpose chat client, it has MSN, Facebook Chat, IRC, Skype, AOL, and a lot of other stuff.
