well onto my explanation... i dunno. I was raised watching the Flintstones and Sesame Street.... i believe it was called Saturday Mornings. The closest I ever got to anime was Voltes V, Voltron and the Super Sentai Series if that counts.

Its a generational phenomena. One day your kids will ask why do you like these wide eyes Japanese cartoons. And you'll just smile, cause you dont know the answer to that either
