I know there is options to subscribe to threads and a spy function, but i'd like a "recent activity" tab, preferably in User CP.

Goes like this, when i post a response to any thread, a subscription is added for the ~3 posts after that thread.
Well, in a separate tab, not to confuse it with your actual subscriptions.
This differs from subscriptions, that you always want to hear from, because it's meant to respond. Sort of a Fb notification that isn't too annoying.
It could maybe apply to quotes, too. If somebody quotes you, you'll see that post.
Of course this could be abused to gain support from moderators, by quoting a name that actually has nothing to do with it. Idk

The one about getting notified when you get quoted isn't actually too bad.

I see this in most gaming forums and the only reason they have it is because the forum has a lot of boards and users tend to lose track of where did they post. Here is a good example.

Toribash forum does not need this, there are not many boards and it is not too hard to keep in mind where did you post responses.

That, and the fact that people quoting you would actually annoy you if you are actively taking part in many threads. I post a lot in that forum I linked, and it is annoying when you get 10+ notification just because some people quote you and agree with your point of view.
