Yearly lottery
We should have a yearly lottery like the prizes are void force and relax
or dq sound or something.
Don't send me PM's, I don't read them.
Every two weeks would be way to close together


someting like 2-3 months apart
spamming out items to everyone would just make everyone start selling it

The capabilities for a lottery are readily available, however during the last few runs it became pretty clear that the demand just wasn't there. Ticket numbers had to in some cases be cut by in excess of 50%. This idea behind them was to sink TC, if the lottery is unable to generate enough TC in ticket sales to at the very least equal the item's value, then they are rendered not just pointless but damaging.

As it stands lotteries would probably fit into a 2 - 3 months schedule, meaning it would take that long for a sufficient number of tickets to be sold and winner to be drawn. But I can see users being put off by the long wait.

But in reality it comes down to demand, if enough users show they want lotteries to return and are willing to buy tickets, then maybe they will return.

I've got this fine idea, which is actually replica of MINECRAFT. Ingame timed lottery. All you do is buy lottery tickets for 1k and you can buy unlimited tickets. Each ticket adds up to a pool and once a day a winner is drawn. Meaning one winning ticket which gets it all (of course, if you bought many tickets, you have better odds of winning). What I hated about minecraft lotteries was, it was too much of a sink, it sunk 5 to 10% (I think) each time. In our lottery, we'd sink only 1% so it's more fair and more people buy it.

I think it's a great idea and cool way to divide up TC and sink a little bit on the way...

oh, on server side devs should just implify some really cool random algorithm (preferrably not Math.rand()) but maybe it would fit too idk. :P I'd also like it to be ingame - based, so you just do /lottery buy <amount> and lottery pot, time left and winners could also be announced by toribot, maybe every 30 minutes or hourly

So what do you guys think about my idea?
