Hey guys
So the last day of school (ever) is approaching and everyone in the year is going to be a video game character on the last day
I chose to go as a psycho from the game Borderlands:


I'm making a mask instead of buying a billion dollar one, so here it is so far:


The colourful bits are play doh, i paper mache'd a blank mask, with some card jaws glued on the back and the nose cut off

Stuff used:
Blank mask, paper mache, play doh, card

Will keep you posted on progress along with the full final outfit o7

Gonna obviously refine the play doh, cut off some of the excess card around the side
Then once the play doh is done, paper mache over it, then paint it with acrylics

Shape isn't all correct

If you played the actual game and killed a psycho, you can see the marks (Brown shit) is actually engraved, not painted. But I let you off because you used a mask already that was not engraved with the markings

Good luck with the detail. The detail is sooo hard to do :/

If you mean the brown strappy bits on the surface then I'm gonna add those after the 2nd layer of paper mache in order to try and make them protrude slightly more
Unless I can find something to make them out of - like card - although I'm not sure
At the moment I'm ONLY trying to get the base shape, detail can come on the next layer
But yeah, painting them on wouldn't really be enough I don't thin, you're right
