I don't know if this is true, it could have been a misconception. I heard that Microsoft is making their game cost $100 a pop. I wouldn't be surprised with all of the things they have done up until now, but it sounds a little crazy. If anyone knows if this is true or not, please tell me. I used to play all of those games, but then I got ban from Xbox live for something that I didn't even do, but when I presented the evidence to them that they personally dug up, it was dismissed and I was told if I were to contact them again further actions would be taken to have me and my family removed from xbox. Since then, I see them for what they truly are. I will never buy another game or product from them again.

Yeah well Microsoft is really stupid. Making games 100$ (maybe). Like anyone will even buy an Xbox One after all they did.

Yea I agree. I believe the were trying to target adults for the xbox one. It is all about television and home entertainment, not even video games. The appearance is also really crappy.

It looks ok, and it also looks like...a box. And they were trying to target everyone even non-gamers.But it's kind of stupid that you can also connect your cable box to your Xbox which makes it sound like our cable boxes weren't working already.

The whole idea might have sounded good on paper, but in reality it sucks. They will be losing so much money, and I am very happy about that.

They're aims for sales this year will probably be so high then they realize only hundreds of people bought it. I'm guessing the'll make a lite version or a smaller version without any of the stupid features the original has, but the damage would have already been done.

It's over. We won.
But I lost all my hope already on MS.

Its not that we won, but they realized that they were losing millions of dollars, and they only removed two features that were only minuscule problems. The only way to reverse what they have done, is if they don't release it this year, and then they take their time to revise what they have done. Personally I think they should hire about 12 kids to go in there and pitch ideas on the new consoles. That is the only way a company will be able to make a decent gaming system, if they listen to the community.

That's kind of what Sony's doing.

anyone played Gears of War Judgement?
Great game, just finished it some days ago on the XBox and it's really enjoyable.

@danny: I think the biggest problem was the presentation of the guy who clearly didnt know what the hell he was talking about He just contradicted himself in so many ways.
As far as I understood that righ MS wanted to create something like Steam for the Xbox. Meaning you should buy games together with your friends in order to play them together, that's why you shouldn't sell them. And for the authentification: I think this was just to make sure every update is getting through, similar to steam again. I personally think the idea wasn't bad at all, it was just a sloppy presentation put in a very bad way.
Nevertheless I don't like the general idea of having a plattform standing between you and your games. See, when I was raised a very good friend of mine got the N64 which was like the best console I could imagine at that point. What I want to say is, that I wanna buy a console, some games and have fun playing these games with my friends sitting next to me without having troubles with a platform in between.
No offense but I was kind of surprised you came here without talking about LoL . Anyway, Microsoft might regain some of their fans after what they said about removing the 24-hour check and the used games restrictions. But I believe I won't be part of that. PS4/Wii U is waaaay better right now for me. (and Wii U has Bayonetta 2 )
