Reasons why we have to win:

1. We're defending champions.
2. Not being able to search the forums sucks.
3. New thug has already signed us up.
4. Squashing the new kids on the block is really satisfying.
5. I've talked us up so much that it will be REALLY humiliating if we don't.

Here is the thread with the rules and whatnot. Is runkido exactly what it sounds like? Also, is lenshu3ng very different from the version of lenshu used in the last league?

runkido is stupid and I don't know why it's there. It looks like a mixture of wushu and taekkyon with -30 gravity. You are far apart but the matchframes are so short you can deal only one or two hits. (ed 500, 240 mf, 20tf)

lenshu3ng is the nograb version of the last leagues mod.

I feel so stupid.

That's a relief, I have no problem with no grab mods. 500 ED with such a low mf value on the other hand sounds a bit silly. Surely one person could just wait for the other guy to reach him then attempt a defensive kick? It would be very hard to lose from that position.

need to practise my clap variations, i havent played half these mods.

runkido sounds awful. wushu is bad enough with light gravity much less heavy.

i wish league was always major mods. aikido, judo, tk, lenshu, wushu etc

Nut, in our application you should have put our age as "oldest clan around".

Inq, bncy and Spirit are older.

I just reread the rules and if I'm not mistaken we'll have to play ALL the mods each round, which seems a bit strange. I'm currently bugging the GMs about runkido and I think they might be changing it to something else.

see if you can get them to change it to joustkido.
if they want to throw a non standard mod in there, you can't get much more fun than joustkido.

I didn't realise how utterly fucked my laptop was until today, it overheats and crashes after around 20 minutes of toribash. It has lasted for more or less 5 years so I guess I am probably due for an upgrade. I'll get that sorted in the next week or so when I've found the perfect bargain. Any suggestions?

Back on the topic at hand, a number of possible replacements for runkido were thrown around today. We're making good progress. A mod that I made to fix the problems in runkido (runkidocltest.tbm, it's sort of a cross between joustkido and runkido, though it has a few problems of its own) is one of the candidates, along with cranekungfu and a few other similar mods. Do you guys have any other suggestions?

More opinions form you guys are ofcourse welcome.
The good Dr, myself, siku and a lot of the gm team had a play around.
