ok well i want to make a simple video for youtube or something but i do not have money to buy a program. Does anyone have any ideas that i can make one for free and it wouldn't look complete crap

You don't need money,all you need is windows media player,your video,and some music
So go to windows media player,find your video,make it the correct video type by converting it for free in the net,add in the video,add in your sound,you're done,now just add it to youtube

Use camtasia studio, it's simple, and it has a 30 day trial if I remember.
