E3 starts in a few minutes. Discuss.
I hope to see:
M$ - If they don't show anything about Project Spark, I have zero interest. Their last Xbone announcement and E3 conference were clusterf*cks the likes of which I had never seen up to that point. Also, it became extremely clear that the people in charge of their games(whoops, television) division have no clue what they're doing.
EA - Maybe gameplay on Mirror's Edge 2 that involves actual free-running for a change? Gameplay of Dragon Age 3 would be nice if they truly understood what made DA: Origins great and adapted it to the new one. Wouldn't mind seeing more EA Sports UFC, if they've made the striking have the amount of impact it had in UFC Undisputed 3.
Ubisoft - Beyond Good & Evil 2 info, please? Without any of the pre-rendered gameplay bs that plagued Watch Dogs at E3 2012 and which they couldn't get to work real-time. Far Cry 4 information would be welcome. I was genuinely surprised at how good Far Cry 3 was gameplay and graphics-wise. The Division looked interesting last time, unsure if that's still the case.
Sony - The Last Guardian. It had better be good. Showing gameplay from The Order: 1886 that isn't generic cover-shooting with generic steampunk assault rifles would be great. Curious about Rime. New IP from Sucker Punch that's the kind of graphic novel-esque(not a word) in the same way the original inFAMOUS was would be great, especially if it uncluded actual non-binary morality. Would like something that is not Uncharted from Naughty Dog. From Software's Project Beast(PS4 exclusive, methinks) had better be shown while people still love/hate Dark Souls II. PS4/Vita bundle will inevitably be announced and will hopefully be well-received. Still waiting on a Vita that has an HDMI port outside of Japan(the VitaTV, IIRC). Now that Oculus Rift sold out to the bastards behind the site I'm currently using to comment on this(irony is not lost on me), it's up to Sony and Project Morpheus to get gamers some VR that's game-oriented. Amping up PS+ and getting people excited for Playstation Now would be great as well.
Konami - Actually interesting gameplay on MGSV. That'd be good. A new Yu-Gi-Oh TCG game featuring all the cards so far? xD
Nintendo - Until and unless they create a new character/create a new IP that doesn't feature old characters, I don't care about them. And given their history, that's not likely to happen.
What do you hope to see?
